Brook West is an author, screenwriter, and training developer who helps people tell stories that stick to your bones. In 2011, her screenplay ROUTE 17 was named an Academy Nicholl Fellowships quarterfinalist. In 2014, her novel, The Blood Keeper’s Prophecy, received very encouraging rejections from HarperCollins and Penguin before she self-published. Brook’s most recent short story, Dream Pipes, received honorable mention in the Penned Writers’ Showcase.
Brook is passionate about amplifying stories that reach an audience emotionally, no matter the genre. Her goal is to help wordsmiths develop work that the reader loves—a reader at an agency, competition, production company, director, etc.—and has them running to their boss to promote the project to the next stage of development.
